1.5 Day (Colnett)
Colnett is a premier winter fishing destination for the simple fact that at any given time you may find yourself hooked into a yellowtail. Along with yellowtail fishing there is a wide variety of rockfish to catch on this bank and surrounding areas. January threw April are very popular months to fish this famous Baja spot.
Offshore 1 Day
The Offshore 1 Day Trips are by far the most sought after, focusing primarily on albacore bluefin tuna, yellowtail tuna, and mahi mahi. These trips usually run between July- October and are considered unsurpassed within the charter business. Offshore 1 Day Trips depart the prior night of the actual fishing date to provide adequate time for travel to the fishing grounds. The day begins at sun-up and generally lasts until 2-4 in the afternoon, depending on the distance from home.
Offshore 1.5 Day
With the same species targeted as the Offshore 1 Day Trips, the 1.5 Days main attraction would be the capability to keep the angler out until dark, ensuring a full days fishing. This trip also enables The Voyager to travel further if needed and provides the angler with a chance at the all so famous “sun down bite”. Many times, afternoon and evening fishing can be superior to the mornings therefore, the 1.5 Day Trip allows us to continue fishing throughout the entire day.
Offshore 2 Day
Following suit with the same objectives as the 1.5 Day Trip, The 2 Day Trip gives you the “sun down bite” as well as an additional day on the water. With the abundance or pelagic fish during the summer days many anglers will find themselves with plenty of catches in the box and yearning for something different. This is where the 2 Day comes into play. Having a second day gives you the option to fish the Baja Coast and it’s many islands and estuaries to provide you with a plethora of different species.
